Thanksgiving pictures

Okay, so I know it's late to be putting up Thanksgiving pics but I don't care! So since both of our families live here, we went to my Aunt Susan's house first! The kids had lots of fun playing with their cousins and jumping on the trampoline. We took ours down because it was getting pretty nasty so they enjoyed jumping again!

Jordan was jumping so stinkin' high! I thought he was going to fall off.

Katelyn also gave her best shot at jumping! She had a blast running around and playing with her cousin Jaycee.

They also played a game of football! Jordan got to get in on the action too! He had so much fun playing with the big kids.

My sister, Trini posing with her favorite girls! They say we look alike...what do you think?

My Cleaning Lady

Yeah, right! I wish Santa would bring me a REAL cleaning lady!!

Anyways, one thing I cannot stand is a dirty floor. It just drives me crazy! When the floor is shiny and clean, I just feel so much better. So yesterday I was on all fours scrubbing away and Katelyn came over to me and said "Help! Help!" So I got her a scrub brush and away we went! She thought it was so much fun and got her pants all nice and wet! Chad was so impressed that at least one of our kids helped clean up.

I love how she's looking up at me as if to say "Look at me Mom! Did I miss a spot?"
If only they stayed this young and innocent and willing to clean!

Fun Weekend

We went to my parents house in Coolidge on Saturday afternoon to hang out. Their ward Christmas party was that night but we didn't know what time it started so we went around 7:15pm. When we got there, everyone was done eating and they were just bringing out Santa! We were sad we missed the food but the kids were happy they got to see Santa and tell him what they wanted!

Jocee was actually not hesitant to go talk to him. Last year she was too scared.

Here are the girls munching on cookies that I made just before we left to go. I think they had like 5 each!! Little piggies. Luckily they were bite-size! :)

On the 29th, Callie turned 5 months old!! She still seems so small to me but she's already had her first taste of rice cereal (she didn't mind it, but wasn't thrilled about it either), can roll both ways, is getting up on her hands and knees to crawl, can move her way around the room on the floor, and is trying to sit up by herself!!! My little over-achiever!! She continues to smile all the time, giggle, and is so snuggly. I love her so much! The nights I have to work, I miss her so much. Sometimes I wake her up when I get home (even though it's 11 or midnight) so I can feed her (and to cuddle and kiss her!!). She's such a doll!!

Rainy Day

The kids had so much fun playing in the rain on Friday! They got sopping wet but it never rains so it was all good fun!

Jordan, Jordan what am I going to do with you!?

Okay, so Sunday after church and lunch, the 2 babies and I laid down to take a nap. During my nap I was constantly woken up by screaming and yelling and fighting....hmmm...wonder who that could be? Anyways, I was then awoken (is that a word?) to the doorbell ringing, then the sound of a man's voice (not Chad's or one I recognized), then Chad saying "I'm Chad." The man was definitely in the house. So when I got up from my "nap" (also with a huge headache from all the screaming), I asked Chad who was here. He said that he found Jordan and Jocee playing with the phone so he took it from them and put it back on the base. Well, soon after that the phone rang and it said "private caller" so he didn't answer it (assuming it was a telemarketer or something). A few minutes later it rang again and same thing. Then 10 minutes later, the doorbell rang and it was a Policeman!!! He asked if someone called 9-1-1 and Chad was like "No." The cop then said "This is the the Gardiner residence, right?" Then I think that's when Chad realized that Jordan must have done it when they had the phone. So the cop was like "Well, is everything okay in here? Do you mind if I look around just to be sure?" Needless to say, Jordan got an ear-full from Daddy when the cop left. Then when I heard what happened, he had it from me too. He better have learned his lesson! I just wish the Policeman would have had a talk with Jordan while he was here. You know how kids listen better to other people....well at least my kids anyways. So that was our excitement for Sunday!

Lovely Little Ladies

We were one of the first 250 customers in Mervyns on Saturday so we got free $10 gift cards! So the girls got a new dress for like $1.50! It was awesome! Cheaper than the thrift store!
Jocee also got a pair of wedge heel shoes for $1.59 with tax!! They are so adorable!
She may be a little bit chunky, but she's the CUTEST little girl!!!! Look at her! She's so stinkin' adorable!!
And this is the skinniest 4 year old and she's so beautiful!! I'm so lucky to have such wonderful kids....most of the time! ;-)

Kyle and Jordan playing part 2

You have to watch this after you watch the video below.......kids are so resilient! :)

Jordan and Kyle playing

Jordan is about 3 1/2 yrs old playing with his favorite cousin, Kyle. They were having a blast pushing each other on the Thomas the Train car, so they asked Uncle Clint to take their picture. Jordan put his head down and started running...not looking where he was going...and the inevitable happened!! Jocee just looks on from the sidelines, happy it wasn't her he was pushing!! I can't help but crack up when I watch this video!! I mean, not because Kyle got hurt...just the way it happened makes me laugh. I'm weird, I know! Enjoy the video!

Happy Halloween

Jordan decided he wanted to be a vampire right at the last minute! We got him stuff to be a cowboy so was a cowboy for the Trunk or Treat but didn't want to be one again on Halloween. Lucky for him, we had a black cape. Jocee was a Hello Kitty Witch and Katelyn was a cowgirl.

Katee got the hang of it real quick! She was so cute walking up to each house, saying "teet teet!", then waving bye-bye to them. They are so much fun at this age. We took the wagon so they wouldn't get tired but Katelyn was too excited to sit in it. She wanted to walk! She had a blast!

One house we went to, the lady gave Katelyn some candy and a pair of cute socks, Jocee a little Halloween jewelry set with glow in the dark earrings, necklace, and bracelet, and Jordan got something cool too! Nice lady!
Here's Jocee showing off her jewelry she got. She was so happy to get it.

Callie 4 months old

For Callie's 4 month birthday, she and Katee went to the doctor for their immunizations. Fun! She only weighed 13 lbs! It seems like the other kids were bigger at this age, but I'll have to check their baby books and see. She had to get 4 shots in her legs. Poor baby! Katelyn only had one in her leg....that girl is tough--didn't even flinch!!

Callie's such a smiley baby. She loves when people talk to her.
Sometimes she finds her thumb to suck! Whatever makes her happy!

Happy Birthday Katelyn

Our little Katee turned 2 on the 28th! I didn't want her to get her clothes messy, that's why she's naked! She got a new baby that cries, a stroller and carseat for the baby, and a play cell phone. We also got her a new tricycle but her little legs don't reach the pedals! Oh well, she still has fun on it anyways.

She had another cake at Grandma Gardiner's house on Sunday with Chad's family. She got a new pony, a little people car that plays music, and some picture books to practice talking! I didn't have my camera, so Aunt Hayley took some pics for me. Thanks Hayley!!

Doctor Visit

After waking up Tuesday with a horrible cough and then a moment of not breathing, I immediately called the doctor to take Katelyn in. Since Jocee just had her 4th birthday I took her too for her check up. Dr. said Katelyn had croup (sp?) and had to get a shot of steroids to help clear her airway so she could breathe and Jocee had to get 4 individual shots for immunizations. Well, when the dr. left the room, Jocee was like "Am I getting a shot?" I said, "Yeah, you're going to get it in your leg. You're gonna be brave to show Katelyn how to do it, right?" Then she was really worried and said "I don't think I'm getting a shot, he said KATELYN'S getting a shot!!" I reassured her that both of them were getting shots and they'd be okay. After a long while of waiting for the nurse to come get it over with, Jocee said, "Mom, she's not here yet, let's just get out of here before she comes back! I just want to get out of here and go get lunch!!" It was so hilarious. I tried not to laugh at her because she was being dead serious...not joking at all. She really wanted out of there!! Poor girl. The nurse finally came in and picked up Katelyn and laid her on the table, pulled her pants down a bit, and gave her a shot in the thigh and Katee didn't make ONE SOUND!! I couldn't believe it...when the dr first came in, she started screaming and wouldn't let him touch her or anything, I had to hold her down so he could check her out. So I was shocked when she didn't fuss when the nurse picked her up and put her on the table. I guess being chunky paid off--she didn't feel the shot!!! :) They weighed both girls and they both weigh 38 pounds!!! My 4 yr old and 2 yr old weigh the same!! Both are cute as heck too!! :) Needless to say, poor Jocee had to be held down for her shots and screamed bloody murder for all 4 pokes!

Happy Birthday Jocelyn!

Here is Jocelyn's cake! Her cousin Jillian came to celebrate with her and got her Island Princess Barbie! She was so happy!
After cake and ice cream, we took the kids bowling! They were so excited to go. They were cute.
Daddy helping Jocee roll it down the alley! When she did it on her own, it seemed like an eternity for the ball to make it to the pins!
Once they saw that there were games, they didn't want to bowl anymore! So Daddy and Jordan had fun bowling their turns for them! We just wanted them to have fun whatever they were doing!

My exhausting week!

This week was my first week at work (Mervyns). I initially told them that I only wanted to work 2-3 evenings a week and every other Saturday. Well, I was scheduled to work Mon-Thurs 6-10pm and Saturday 3-10pm!! I am EXHAUSTED!!! I didn't realize how hard on my body it would be to be on my feet for 4 hours straight!! By the end of the night, I had blisters on my feet, my back was killing me (I already have a bad back), my legs hurt, my neck hurt and just about every other part of my body hurt!! So every night I came home and took Tylenol. A couple of nights after work, I came home and Callie was up! Which was okay at first, 'cause I missed her and needed to feed her, but then she wanted to stay up and play til 1am!! I am so physically drained from this week. I just wish I could spend a day in bed resting! Unfortunately I have 4 kids and one of them having a birthday on Monday (Jocee will be 4!) and don't have time to stay in bed :(
I also don't like having to deal with rude customers but that comes with the territory of working in retail. I guess when I get a paycheck it will make me feel a little better. There's a girl who started the same time I did and she's 8 months pregnant and still in high school! I can't imagine how badly her body must ache! I feel so bad for her. She's the sweetest, quietest girl. I found out she was having a boy and remembered that I had bought this really cute boy outfit for a buck on clearance a while ago so I gave it to her today and she was so happy and grateful. She also told me that she wasn't getting very many hours and that she really needed to work, so I gave her my hours for next Saturday--I didn't want to work 2 Saturdays in a row. She was so happy and thankful! I really am grateful for the little things in life that I take for granted. I really am blessed. I have a loving husband who has a promising career (once he gets more experience he can make really good money), the 4 most beautiful kids in the world who are healthy (except this awful cough that Katee and Jordan have), a home to live in (I hated living in an apartment!), running vehicles (we had a car that gave us problems).....and the list goes on. It's easy to get down when things start to go wrong, but in the whole scheme of things, I really have a lot.
Okay, I'm done with my novel. Thanks for listening. I feel so bad--I haven't talked to my friends in such a long time! We need to have another get-together! We can have it at my house this time. Let me know when ya'll are available and we can make a plan when I don't have to work.

Playing Dress-up!

Today we got all dolled up for the "ball"!! Jocee said she wanted to go to the ball and dance. So I curled her hair and put some make-up on her. We had so much fun! Isn't she just the most beautiful 3 year old you've ever seen!!?? I think so.

This is my favorite picture. She has a true smile on her face!
This picture is cute too but she doesn't have that big grin showing all her teeth. Still pretty though!

The dress got itchy so she took it off. She said "I still want to take my picture though!"

Good Job Grandma!

While I was at orientation for work yesterday, my MIL (mom-in-law) came over to watch the kids. When I came home, the kids were so excited for me to see their bedroom. I walked in and saw that she had painted the cutest palm tree and 2 surfboards on the walls! She did such a great job!! They look awesome!

This one is on Jocee's side by her bed.
This is the wall by Jordan's bed. He said he told her he wanted a Spiderman surfboard, so she did Spiderman colors for him. He lays in his bed and puts his feet on it and says, "Look Mom, I'm surfing!"
