Pimpin' New Ride!

Here's the cool key to our hot new ride! You push the little silver button and the key pops out like a pocket knife. It's so cool. Seems like it could brake easily though.


And here it is.... A Mazda 5!

The middle has two bucket seats and so does the back. Barely fits our huge family!

Here's the back row. As you can see, there's basically NO room for a stroller or much of anything for that matter! It's so tiny. It's definitely not a car for families with babies! The kids think it's cool though.

Oh yeah, there's also no vents in the rear either! Doesn't make any sense to me. It drives really well--Chad had fun zippin' all over the roads! He was flyin' down the freeway and I looked over at the speedometer and he was going 90!! I yelled "Chad!! You're going 90!!!" He looked down and was like "I am? I'm barely pushing on the pedal." You'd think someone who just went to traffic school 2 weeks ago would be more cautious, but--no. Anyways, so as you probably are guessing.......No, it's not our new car. It's a rental while our van's a/c is getting fixed. We've been without a/c for about a month! It has not been fun. So I called the dealership to see when our warranty was up and he said it was up in less than a month!! So Chad took it in on Saturday morning and the guy said that the compressor and the condenser were broken among several other things. He said all was covered except a "line" that has to do with the a/c was not covered. First he told Chad that it would only be like $30 bucks. Then he came back and said it would be 12 times that much!! I couldn't believe it! Of course he was making it sound like, you're gonna get this fixed and that fixed and all you have to pay out the door is X amount of dollars. Like we were getting a good deal! HA! Yeah right. That's why you pay for a warranty! So to get your money's worth on buying the warranty, you'd better get some things fixed or you gave them all that money for nothing! So he told Chad that we'd get a rental car for the weekend and I reminded Chad that we would need a vehicle big enough to fit 6 people and of course the guy said they didn't have a car that big and that we'd have to drive our A/C-less van for 2 more days and bring it back on Monday when they'd get a car big enough to fit our family. So we went today when Chad got home from work and got this car. They called it a van, but it's SO not a van! Compared to this little car, our van is SO roomy!! Oh well, it'll be fun to have a different vehicle for a while and to have AIR CONDITIONING! (And a CD player! Our van doesn't have one :( )
